This work is especially aimed at first year students of Bachelor”s Degrees in Law or bilingual double degrees. In its second edition, it continues to offer a study of the basic institutions of Private Law, focusing on the analysis of the institutions of the Preliminary Title of the Civil Code (sources of Law, effectiveness of the rules, competence relations between the State and the Autonomous Communities in civil matters) as well as Personal Law (personality rights, beginning and end of personality, legal person, nationality and civil status). It also provides students with basic legal concepts of Property Law. Adapted to the new curricula that require continuous assessment, this handbook presents work materials at the end of each chapter, as well as self-assessment criteria.
